To all,
Michael left us in body, but he left a piece of himself to everyone here and anyone and everyone who has, is, and will pick up and look at his amazing art work. For that Michael will never leave us and for that he has given us the gift to grow learn and be inspired to mold the industry and ourselves.
Ever since I laid eyes on his work I had to know who it was that created it. Ever since that day I was hooked as a Michael Turner fan and I fell back into the realization I had to continue to work to become a comic book artist.
I too am in disbelief, im shocked, I planed to go to the next comic con in hopes to meet him after I was done with the Tour here in Iraq. Now I can only work that much harder in hopes that one day I can inspire people the way he inspired me through comics and film.
So all I can say is thank you to Michael, thank you to his family and friends. God bless .
Now it is our responsibilities as artists to carry on his memory in our work.

Since he pencilled Witchblade I became a big fan of his work. And it's thanks to him if I read comics today. There is a soul in his drawings.
He will remain living in my heart.
My thoughts are with all of his family, his friends and Aspen.

A tremendous influence to me and a legion of others, both artistically and spiritually, and one of the most gracious individuals I've ever had the priviledge of meeting. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans.

Michael, anyone who can face the monster that is cancer and battle it as you did for as long as you did, much less to keep doing art as long as you did through it all....THAT is a HERO to the ULTIMATE degree.
Having just gotten back into comics within the last 3 years, I never had the chance to make it to a con, to meet Michael, or to share the relationship with him that so many of you in the forum and the staff at Aspen did. All I know is that he truly was my favorite artist, that I will treasure more every peice I see and own of his, and that the world is a lesser place without him.
Find rest and peace with the angels, Michael, you earned it. YOU WILL BE MISSED.

Mike, your work inspired me in so many ways. You took my breath away, made me laugh, made me cry, allowed me to see beauty in things that I never noticed before. I know it is selfish, but my heart is broken that I will never get to see the worlds you created through your eyes again. Although I didn't know you personally, your passion and zeal for life is reflected through your friends, co-workers, and fans. I'm glad I got to meet you, and I'm so sad you had to go. In your short time you inspired millions on how to draw, and how to live. Your legacy will not be forgotten.

I've only briefly met Mr. Turner a few times but I can honestly say i've never met a soul that shined as bright as his. I will mourn your death but I will always celebrate your life. God bless you.

I never met Michael Turner, but I've seen many pictures of him with fans and he always seemed to be genuinely happy to
be with him. Michael Turner really got me into collecting comics not just for the stories but for the art. I will
remember him always with the wonderful art of his hanging on the wall in my house. Mike, you left a great legacy and
your family, friends and fans will always have you in their hearts and minds.

I never got to meet Mr. Turner, but I've only heard the nicest things about him. I picked up the Fathom books on a whim a couple of years ago and feel in love with the art. From that point on, I became a fan of his.
This is such a terrible shock. He battled for so long while getting his work out and that is admirable to the ultimate degree.
My condolences to his family, friends, and to everyone at Aspen. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Rest in Peace Mr. Turner.
