I found out after Vince texted people at the show.
I thought about it and think maybe it would be nice to do a "traveling card" or something similar to it.
I am thinking about designing it myself and keep everyone posted on it.
I believe we should mail it off like the traveling Ernie, take a list of people and send it abroad and eventually at the end of the list, mail it back here to me or somebody and get it to Aspen crew.
If the card doesn't seem to work, I have tons of left over fathom posters that are blank and we could ship out the tube to each other and write a note on the back. When we are all done I could get it framed in double sided glass (donations wil help) and both sides will be visible to see all the notes.
I have done this sort of frame before. It will cost around 300-400 to for a poster sized item.

This is awful news. My condolences to Michael's family and friends. There isn't much I can say that hasn't been said or that the people don't already know. His hope and strength was an inspiration to us all... Michael was a class act all the way; definitely one of the greats. He will be missed.

I have registered with this message board because I feel this is the best place to offer my condolences. I always wished to one day meet Michael Turner and I'm incredibly sad to never get the opportunity to do so now. He was one of the greatest artists ever and easily one of of the best when it came to cover creativity. My condolences go out to his family and his friends. May you rest in peace, Mike.

i agree cbei...i think something from all of us (who are so touched by his life and work) is a great ill-be-it small token. I'm on board...let me know.

I haven't been around a lot... In fact, I have barely been here in the last few years.
But upon finding out such devastating news, I felt this was the best place to offer my condolences. He was my muse, and that of others, in many ways, and he will be greatly missed.
I pray for his family and friends.

I had a chance to finally met Mike at WWLA this last March. I waited in line over 3 hrs so I could shake his hand and tell him how much I loved his work. I feel blessed that I had that experience. I only met him that one time but I'll never forget it.

I just heard and had to hurry to confirm the sad news. I had the chance to meet Mr Turner. Once during the Fathom world tour and two other times at the Pittsburgh Comiccon. I will miss him and my sympathy goes out to his loved ones.
For the last couple of years I passed around a get well card at the Pittsburgh con and sent them to Mike.
