It goes "Chaos Reign", "Dying of the Light", "Grace's Wings", "Soulfire Beginnings" then "Soulfire Vol. 1".
That would be a correct timetable.

But questions aside I had a good time reading the book.
The last page was gorgeous. I wonder how painful it was suppose to be when their wings came off. Physically that is. The emotional and mental challenge would've been crazy like telling someone that they'd never walk again. |

In the case of the people you mentioned I believe how they lost their wings but lived is due to their strength of character. They also held on to the faiths tightly thru everything as well. That also I believe is what caused them to live for so long as well. Since magic defied the new order of logic and science they as living embodiments of the remnants of magic that was left live on through the ages as testament to the fact that magic can not die.
