Welcome to the Soulfire forum!
This forum is now under new management. So, as...new manager, I thought I would add a FAQ and brief laydown of the rules here...
RULES
1. Before posting a new thread, PLEASE make sure it is relevant to the forum and hasn't been posted already.
2. No flaming or insults of ANY kind. Please keep them to PM's, or better yet, don't do them at all.
3. Don't post any eBay related topics here. for the Aspen Collector's Alley (which has its own rules on eBay topics).
4. Take a deep breath, and relax. I know the delays can be frustrating, but Soulfire is returning March!
5. Don't post any violent or pornographic images.
6. Have fun! <:-)
That's about it for now. New rules will be added if deemed necessary.
FAQ
What is Soulfire about?
Soulfire is a science fiction/fantasy series from Aspen MLT, Inc. Set in the fairly distant future, the story follows a young boy named Malikai, destined to bring forth a new Age of Magic on the world. He is aided by the wise bugwing named Grace, and accompanied by his friends PJ and Sonia. Their transportation services are offered by the mysterious Benoist. Malikai and the gang must visit the Five Masters, mystical individuals there to help Malikai. They are also on the run from the corrupt Rainier, intent on obliviating magic with technology and wreaking havoc with his mechanical dragon.

Soulfire is written by JT Krul and Jeph Loeb, drawn and co-plotted by Michael Turner, and colored by Peter Steigerwald.

On the official Aspen store or on Aspen's Soulfire mini-site.
Who inks Michael's artwork?
No one! Michael's pencils go straight to colours.
What's up with all these delays? When is #6 coming out?
Soulfire has unfortunately been bogged with delays because of a cancer relapse on Michael Turner's part. However, he's got a 100% bill of health, and is drawing issues as we speak! Soulfire #6 is slated for a March 2006 release, and the rest of the series will follow, and finish up in the summer.
I can't find any of the older issues. What can I do?
a) You can look harder for them, or
b) You can buy them all, collected in the Soulfire hardcover! This collects the Preview issue, and #0-5 (so basically every Soulfire comic to this point). The hardcover is available on the Aspen store, as well as at your local comic book retailer.
If I make a thread about Soulfire: Dying of the Light or Soulfire: Chaos Reign, why is it moved? Its still Soulfire, isn't it?
Dying of the Light and Chaos Reign are spinoffs of the current Soulfire series. While they take place in the same universe, they have their own forums.
Will Soulfire ever have a crossover with Fathom, Ekos, or Shrugged?
Very unlikely. All Aspen titles exist in their own separate universes. The only crossovers would take place between a series, and its own spinoff (like Fathom crossing over into Fathom: Cannon Hawke). So sadly, no Grace and Aspen adventures, folks.
