ASPEN STUDIOS take over the SUPERMAN Titles Beginning this week, Michael Turner and Aspen Studios have taken-over DC Comics core Superman titles. Over the course of the next two months ACTION COMICS, ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN, and SUPERMAN will all get the Aspen touch. Michael Turner and Joe Kelly are writing the 6-part 'Godfall' storyline, the new Superman story that will set the stage for the relaunch of all the core Superman titles in April. Aspen's very own Talent Caldwell will be providing the interior artwork for the entire 'Godfall' series and Michael Turner will be providing the covers to all six-issues. This February sees the release of ACTION COMICS #813, ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #625 and SUPERMAN #202. NOTE: DC has just announced that ACTION COMICS #813 and ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #625 are Sold Out. DC Comics will be going back to the presses shortly for a second printing of both books with Michael's original pencils to be used for the new covers. Look for the original pencil covers to pop-up on AspenStore.com in the next few weeks and available to order in early March. Not only are the Superman titles getting the Aspen Touch but there is still a lot more of Aspen to go around DC Comics. The next five issues of The FLASH will all be graced with the amazing art of Michael Turner and the colors of Peter Steigerwald. Catch the first new cover this month with the release of FLASH #207! The additional two covers to the Aspen Sketchbook were released as convention exclusives for the Wizard World Texas Convention. The second cover by Michael Turner was limited to 1500 copies as well, with the third cover by Talent Caldwell being limited to only 750 copies. Both covers are nearly sold out and the WW Texas Cover by Talent is only available in a signed edition with very few copies left!
